Tusker fc veteran goalkeeper Duncan Ochieng has no intentions of hanging his gloves anytime soon.
Ochieng who has had an exemplary performance still feel he can still perform at high level despite being advanced in age. In the Tusker awards, he scooped two awards the impact player and Best goalkeeper award for the past months.
Speaking to tuskerfc.com Ochieng said, “Age is just a number. I feel I can carry on for the next five years. I am fresh. I have been working so hard with the new goalkeeper trainer and the team at large. My coach also has been challenging me to work harder.”
Ochieng made his debut in KPL more than 15 years ago and he has been babysitting Tusker fc goal this season with care. With superior saving skills and the command he has in the team he is strong and does well that no striker finds it easy. Duncan was on point as brewers climbed to the top of the league table before June mid-season.
“We have been doing great lately credit to my team players because of the efforts they put in and to the technical bench also in their planning for each match. The next assignment they have is on KPL’s new blood Kariobangi sharks where they are to battle it out on Sunday afternoon, 18th June, 2017.
