In a bid to improve on the 2017 football season and maintain the winning streak after the first leg that saw Tusker finish at the summit of the table, Tusker football Club moved quickly and completed a bulk of new signings to bolster the playing squad.
The few departments that were found wanting prior to opening of the mid-season transfer window have now to a great extent have been strengthened
Head Coach George Nsimbe finished his work before the closure yesterday of the window as a way of allowing the new arrivals time to adapt and gel together as a cohesive squad.
Following the departure of Shafik Batambuze to Tanzanian side, Singida fc, the coach acted swiftly to replace him with David Mwangi from Mathare united.
The midfield has also been reinforced with addition of a gem in Boniface Muchiri who joined from Sony sugar fc alongside Luis Tera who has now made a permanent move from the Georgian side OGC Nice with Noah Wafula extending his contract with the Brewers.
On the other end of the pitch, the Brewers attack has also been boosted with the acquisition of enterprising Paul Odhiambo from Sofapaka to provide pace & goals on an already perfect striking department.
Brewers are pleased with the business done after the new signings acquired will undoubtedly improve the squad to a greater degree.
Departures are in fact inevitable in this kind of situations; Samuel Olwande and Vincent Omumbo have been loaned out to Mathare united and Western Stima fc respectively to sum up the brewers transfers.
