Tusker will miss the services of midfielder Cercidy Okeyo for their Kenyan premier league away match trip to Kericho to face Zoo fc after he sustained a left thigh muscle tear in training yesterday as confirmed on the scan. He will be out for 6weeks as he under goes treatment and rehab program.
The midfielder after aggravating the injury has therefore been sidelined for some time as he continues to recover.
Cercidy Okeyo has played all league matches except the match against Nzoia sugar which he did not play but was among the players called up by Coach George Nsimbe since the season started.
The player has been a pillar in the Brewers’ line up regardless of which teammate partnered him in the three-man midfield and will now be replaced by Sydney Ochieng in Wednesday’s tie.
The Brewers will be hoping to continue their winning streak as defending champions following their recent form that has seen them win Nakumatt, Muhoroni and Kakamega Homeboyz.
