Nakumatt FC 0-1 Tusker FC

Tusker fc needed a cheeky goal from substitute Boniface Muchiri in the 76th minute to seal the late victory over Nakumatt fc in a closely contested Sportpesa premier league match at Ruaraka grounds. This is the second win in a row for Tusker FC.

In the match, Tusker created most chances as they dominated both first and second half of the game. Noah Wafula was to clear things out in the 6th minute but his shot was blocked by the goal keeper for rebound. Allan Wanga had a clear chance in the 24th minute after a cross from Osumba landed on his right foot but his last shot could not produce the much awaited results as it went over the bar.

Jackson Macharia who had a knock and was unconscious for some few minutes was quickly replaced by Cercidy Okeyo and he is set to miss the weekends clash against Nzoia sugar fc. With the many wasteful chances the first half was barren with nothing much to write about.

However, the midfield combination of Cercidy Okeyo, Humphhrey Mieno and Brian Osumba had some moments of brilliance as they kept pushing the ball forward in search of an opening goal.

Towards the closing stages of the match, Boniface Muchiri produced a moment of brilliance when he slotted in the winning goal after Martin Kizza capitalized on striking error to feed him.

The victory took Tusker to third place with 46points. Next challenge will be up against Nzoia sugar.
