Tusker fc will be looking to bounce back this evening at Ruaraka stadium after the loss in Chemelil when they face Posta Rangers. It was the first league match for the new coach Sam Timbe and a couple of new players who were recruited in the just concluded January transfer period.
As we approach this match, Timbe will start off with his duo partnership of Timothy Otieno and Edwin Lavatsa to sharpen the striking edge. On the goal posts Veteran Duncan Ochieng is back and starting his 21st year in the league against Posta Rangers and his first league match since he was named the Brewers captain. The speedy winger, Boniface Muchiri will start from the bench together with Lloyd Wahome Marlon Tangauzi and Jackson Macharia who were starters in the last match.
Drawing back to 2017, the first leg which was played in Meru the clash ended in a score line of 1-1 with the Tusker FC goal coming from Boniface Muchiri. The second leg clash which was played at Nyayo Stadium, Nairobi saw Tusker suffer a loss of 1-0 to the Post men.
The entertaining match will see former Tusker FC players like Danson Kago an Luis Tera battle it out not as Brewers but as post men this evening.
The match is set to kick off at 3pm.
