Tusker picked a draw against Posta Rangers in a hotly contested match at Ruaraka on Sunday evening.
Brewers dominated in both halves of the match but Rangers defense was too tight to let the Brewers sail through.
In the first few minutes of the match Timothy Otieno made a cross towards the goal which met Robert Achema but the latter lacked the precision to put in the first goal when his shot went wide.
From Collin Shivachi back pass to the Skipper-keeper Duncan Ochieng, Posta Rangers were almost taking the lead but Ochieng reacted faster by punching the ball outside denying him a chance.
The second half was very entertaining as the Brewers came hungry for a goal in the first minutes, Robert Achema and Timothy terrorized the Posta defense. To put more pressure ahead, Sam Timbe made changes, Amos Asembeka coming out for Jackson Macharia and Edwin Lavatsa for Boniface Muchiri.
In the dying minutes of the match Robert Achema had another ambitious shot at goal that ended over the bar hence the match ending in a scoreline of 0-0.
Speaking to Tusker FC when asked on the pressure he has after losing the first match and a draw in his second Timbe said,” I think there is no pressure on my side because I’m used to this kind of work and am going to work more on the team since we had an upper hand in the game we should have produced a better result.”
“Today there was pressure but at least they showed that as we continue perfecting the different areas there will be a break through. “
On the next match, “We should work more to be at a better position; results don’t just come like that we just have to work.”
