“Ambunya has recovered from a Soft tissue injury  on his right knee,” reports from the team doctor, Wycliffe Makanga. “He is back in training with the rest of the squad.” Eric Ambunya was sidelined by a knee injury and has not played for two matches now.

Also back in training with the squad is full-back Vincent Omumbo, Eugine Asike and forward Michael Khamati.

“Omumbo has recovered from a fracture on his right hand which he sustained while on loan whilst Khamati and Asike from Soft tissue of the Right knee and left knee respectively” says Makanga.


As for Amos Asembeka who sprained his right ankle during the Gor mahia match has not yet resumed training and  the medical team will continue assessing his situation together with Lloyd Wahome and duncan ochieng who incurred thigh muscle injuries on different occasions.

Tusker welcome Thika united in the Kenyan Premier league Round 6 encounter on Saturday, 10 March. The match is scheduled to take place at the Ruaraka stadium (kick-off is 15:00).

Tickets will be sold on the match day for 200 Kenyan shillings.
