Tusker is set to play away to Sofapaka at the Machakos Stadium on Sunday 18 March 2018 with kick off set for 2pm.

The matches between the two teams have a rich history and that’s why no one would love to miss that match.

Tusker has several players in their ranks who have since played for Sofapaka; Skipper Duncan Ochieng, Defender Collins Shivachi, Goalkeeper David Okello and forward Paul Okatwa. In 2017, Tusker drew 2-2 with Sofapaka away at Thika municipal stadium on 9th April 2017 with Michael Khamati and former Tusker player Allan Wanga scoring the goals. The two sides met later on 11th November 2017 for the second leg encounter which saw Sofapaka win by 1-0.

Both sides played to stalemate over the weekend in their previous league fixture, Tusker played to a 0-0 to Thika united, while Sofapaka played to the same margin to Kariobangi sharks.

Tusker will look at getting back to winning ways and materializing their numerous opportunities in front of the goal. Tusker is currently sitting at the 12th position on the Kenyan Premier League log whilst Sofapaka are sitting on number 6 with 6 matches played.
