Tusker humbled Ulinzi stars to a 3-1 win in a friendly match played at Ruaraka stadium today at 9am. 

This was the second meeting for the two teams with the first during a league match played at Afraha stadium where Ulinzi won with a 1-0 scoreline. 

In the first few minutes of the match there was a One two from Boniface Muchiri and Michael khamati who sent in a cross but found Brian osumba who curved it wide. Ulinzi stars pressed hard to the Tusker back line with the strikers releasing a shot making Byrne Omondi stretch wide to send it out for corner. 

Tusker found another chance when Boniface Muchiri’s released a hard shot but found the keeper ready. 

In the 30th minute Sydney Ochieng went past three Ulinzi players to pass the ball to Michael Khamati but the latter tried to chip the ball past the defender but the goal keeper once again saved it.

Minutes later Khamati opened scores at Ruaraka with the first half ending at 1-0. 


Coming back to the second half Timothy Otieno had a chance in the 49th minute when he sent in a long range shot but the keeper was ready to pick it up. 

In the 57th minute Edwin Lavatsa with a thunderbolt of a shot made the second goal for Tusker with an assist from Timothy Otieno

After the assist Timothy Otieno scored in the 67th minute dribbling past the away back line to score. 

Ulinzi earned a penalty when Kasadha handled the ball which later Ongoma converted it to take their first score. 

Ulinzi had another chance in the 81st minute when Nash sent a shot that sought David Okello to go wide tipping it out for corner.
