Tusker played to a 4-0 win against AFC Leopards away at the Machakos stadium in a midweek clash on Wednesday 26 September. Sydney Ochieng, Marlon Tangauzi, Jackson Macharia and Boniface Muchiri goals was all that the Brewers needed to seal maximum points from AFC Leopards.

This was the second time Tusker defeated AFC in the 2018 season having had their first encounter end at 4-2 in favor of Tusker with goals from Timothy Otieno and Lloyd Wahome.

In the 21st minute of the match, Sydney Ochieng gifted Tusker their first goal after he slotted in the ball past the keeper in what seemed to be a deflection from his defenders.

Minutes later Timothy Otieno was on the run to hit the second but goalkeeper Owade could not allow him. In the 41st minute, Defender Marlon Tangauzi went past his marker Abdallah to send in a thunderbolt straight into the top most corner of the net.

Coming in for the second half, Tusker stretched their lead in the 71st minute after Matano made a substitution replacing Brian Osumba with Jackson Macharia. A well calculated pass was taken by Macharia which met a running Muchiri to beautify the combination and the later slotting in the third for Tusker and raising his goals tally to eleven.

It was not late when Coach Robert Matano made another substitution bringing in Michael Khamati for Timothy Otieno. In the 79th minute, Khamati Michael made a pass to Jackson Macharia who piled more misery on the Leopards side by scoring the fourth for Tusker and sealing maximum points for the Brewers. Jackson Macharia ended the game with a goal and an assist after starting the match from the bench.

Speaking after the match Coach Robert Matano said,” I am happy. We played good football combination today. Our target is to be consistent in the last two matches so as to finish up at a better position.”

Tusker FC will travel away to Bungoma where they are set to face Nzoia Sugar on Sunday 30th September before completing the season at home against Gor Mahia FC on 7th October.
