Coach Robert Matano says he will rotate his squad for Wednesday afternoon’s FKF Betway Cup round of 32 tie away to Marafiki FC in Nyeri. The boss says after the weekend travel to Mumias to face Vihiga in a league tie, he will need to give a rest to some of the players.
The team returned from Mumias on Monday afternoon and had a training session Tuesday morning.
“We have travelled to and from Mumias and we have to be careful so that fatigue does not creep in on the players and we have just resumed the other day. We have a big squad and everybody is ready to play. We will give others a chance to play while others will rest,” the coach stated.
Meanwhile, the coach stated that the team will take the round of 32 match at the Kinunga Stadium with utmost seriousness and will not underrate opponents.
The boss has added that every trophy is important to the team and will do their best to take the win and progress to the next round.
“Everything s important to us. Every game is important and we take each game at a time. We are concerned about our results as a team and we are playing for both the league and the Cup. We have to work hard for both trophies,” the coach stated.
He added; “We cannot underrate any team and we will approach every game with seriousness.”
