Four Tusker FC players have been called to the Harambee Stars Under-23 team which started training at Ruaraka on Monday ahead of the 2021 CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup which will be staged in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia from the 3rd of next month.

Striker Henry Meja and winger Eric Zakayo who has already had a taste of national team duty have made the preliminary team while young defender Jimmy Mbugua and midfielder Faraj Ominde have earned the national jersey for the first time ever.

“I feel excited to get this chance because it is a golden opportunity. I hope to make the most of it and I want to work hard and be part of the final team,” Jimmy Mbugua who has played three matches for the first team this season stated.
