“Khamati has recovered from a soft tissue injury of the knee which he sustained during the match against Vihiga united FC,” Tusker FC medical doctor, Wycliffe Makanga stated. “He is back in training with the rest of the squad and am happy he has trained well this morning.”

Also undergoing rehab is Apollo Otieno and Amos Asembeka. “Apollo has started gym and rehab programs as he continues to recover. We still await further update once he completes his physical therapy session next week.” Said  Makanga.

Apollo had a recurring groin injury following a friendly match against Liberty.

Tusker will play away to Thika United next in the sportpesa premier league match on Wednesday 19th September. The match is scheduled to take place at the Thika stadium and kick off at 3 pm.
