Tusker fc and Bandari fc will be meeting for the 16th time on Sunday, 12 August 2018 when they square up in the Sportpesa premier league at Ruaraka grounds.

Kickoff for the game is at 3pm.

Matches between the two sides have been tight over the years with Tusker winning nine times while Bandari FC Currently under Benard Mwalala have won three times with four matches ending in draws.

Tusker has had a good run in the past matches same to Bandari collecting six points after three games and head coach,Robert Matano speaking to www.tuskerfc.co.ke had this to say

“What’s important is the moment of that game, we have prepared well just like them; we are going for a win because we need to move out of our current position.”

Bandari are placed on the second position whilst Tusker sits on the sixth position on the league table.

Boniface Muchiri who has been on form scoring two goals past Homeboys in the previous match has been suspended after accumulation of 5 yellow cards and hence will miss the weekend clash together with Eric Ambunya who is still serving his two match suspension.

 “We will miss him but we’ve other players who can fit in. It’s an opportunity for another player and I believe all my players are ready for the task.” Matano said.

Faruk Shikhalo a former Brewer who left in 2015 will come back to Ruaraka as an opponent.

“We want to win the game and go to the position we want and am happy we are climbing slowly to where we belong,” finalized Matano.
