Midfielder Humphrey Mieno says the team is focused and psyched up to fight for three points when they take on AFC Leopards at the Thika Stadium on Friday afternoon.

The midfield pass master says training has been excellent throughout the week and they are looking forward to bagging maximum points.

“The lads are psyched up and focused ahead of the game to go and get the three points that we need. In the last match we were the better team but lost because we culdn’t convert our chances. If we improve in our finishing and make use of the chances we get I believe we will walk away with the three points,” said Mieno.

The midfielder has been in impressive form over the last few matches, but says this has been down to teamwork.

“I think it is not about me but about the team. We are getting the right focus and our only aim this season is to win the league and as a team we are ready and doing as the coach plans. If we get our thoughts and action in the same direction then it is going to be easy for us,” Mieno said.

The midfielder also says four points in the last two games against direct title opponents is massive for the team as they bid towards a 12th league title.
