His knowledge for the game and all round experience in the pitch is an added advantage to him. He began his football career in 1995-2002 at Mathare united where he steered the team to win the title in 1998 and 2000. In 2005 he crossed boarders to play for Song lam Nghe An for 1 year then came back to Mathare united. His skills in goalkeeping once again earned him a call up outside the country in 2007 at IK Sleipner then came back to Mathare for 2years winning the league with them in 2008. He joined the brewers side in 2011 and once again won the league with them. He later left to sofapaka where he signed a 3 year deal with them and then landed back to the Brewers side in 2014.
Duncan signed his second contract with Tusker on 30th June 2014 for a 3 year contract which ended in June 2017 but opted to renew it for 2 years.
He has had 42 call ups on FIFA based games and 2 based Non –FIFA games

In 2008, he was the Goal keeper of the year.
Won the Gotv shield and league cup with Sofapaka.
Won the GOtv shield and Kenyan Premier League title with Tusker in 2016 in what was dubbed “Dabodabo”. Ochieng has so far won two league titles while at Tusker.
