Striker Chris Onyango has hailed the team spirit as one of the factors that has helped the team maintain a good run this season, especially looking back at Sunday’s win over Kariobangi Sharks.
The team had come off a rough patch of two successive losses, but Onyango scored the winner in a 1-0 victory at the Utalii Grounds.
“I am really thankful that we won, but all through it has been a collective effort from the entire team. In the game against Sharks we worked as a team and credit goes to everyone,”
“Mentally it has been very tough over the last two weeks with back to back losses. It was not an easy time and it was very crucial for us to go grab a win against Sharks,”
“The victory is a stepping stone to approach the next game against Western Stima. We go in with some different morale and we want to keep the winning run,” said the striker.
