Tusker FC have completed the signing of Rwandese goalkeeper Emery Mvuyekure, George Bill Oporia  and Nashon Alembi for 3 years each.

Emery, arrives from AS Kigali FC. He previously played for APR FC and Police FC. The goalkeeper joins veteran goalkeeper Duncan Ochieng, Robert Mboya and Byrne Omondi in the department. His signing comes after Patrick Matasi left for St. George SC, Ethiopia.

Upon signing for Tusker FC, Emery said, “I joined Tusker because I know it’s a team that wants to win and not just participate. I know them for winning titles and I love winning too so I want to help them achieve the same target.”

On competition in the department he said, “The goalkeepers that I have found here are working really hard. Definitely it will not be easy but I know we are a team and if we push each other the competition will be healthier and we will achieve more.”

Oporia on the other hand arrives from Ushuru FC where he was there for six months and became their top scorer in the National super league 2018 season. He previously donned the Talanta FC jersey.

Speaking to tuskerfc.co.ke he said, “First I want to work together with the strikers that are there to continue succeeding in the department and the team at large. I have trained with the team for one week and I already feel welcomed. I am really hoping to gain lots of experience and score more goals too”

Alembi, the 23 year old, arrives from Muranga seals FC and had previously played for Kangemi All stars. The defender joins the strong defense led by Wahome and becomes the third defender added to the team during this transfer period after Hillary Wandera and Sammy Meja.

“I am excited. It’s a dream come true. I have always been wishing to join Tusker and was happy when coach Matano approached me for my services. I believe it’s now time to work hard and gain more experience to push the team forward.”
