TUSKER FC TRANSFER WINDOW ROUND UP

The transfer window has closed and Coach Robert Matano added seven new faces to his squad.

 

The first came in the form of Brian Odhiambo who joined the Brewers on a three-year contract from Buruburu sports FC.

The 24-year old defender also featured for Wazito FC in the National super league.

Tom Adwar officially joined the Club on 25th March alongside Odhiambo moving to Tusker on a season long deal from Sofapaka FC.

Adwar made his debut during the Brewers home match against Western Stima FC.

David Naftali became the third signing when he completed his move from Zambian side Kabwe Warriors. The midfielder arrived at Ruaraka penning down a one year deal after previously featuring for Bandari, Mt.Kenya United (Nakumatt FC) and Simba SC.

South Sudan striker, David Majak, joined Tusker for three years from Mt. Kenya United FC. The 19 year old was crowned the 2018 regional Chapa Dimba MVP and top scorer. He joins Timothy Otieno and Amini Muzerwa in the Tusker FC frontline.

Up next were Noah and Kevin Wafula. Noah returns back on loan term from Uganda, Vipers SC and has signed a two months contract. He left Tusker in 2018 joining Kakamega Homeboyz FC before crossing the border. Kevin Wafula on the other hand signed a one and a half year deal from CMS All-stars FC which participates in the FKF national division 2 eastern zone leagues.

Eugine Asike was the final addition of the transfer window as he becomes the second brewer returning back home. Eugene was in the 2016 squad that won a double at Ruaraka together with Noah Wafula and he has won other accolades before. He rejoins the Brewers for a two months contract.

As new faces came on board, change is inevitable as some players went on loan whilst others mutually terminated their contracts with the club.

Amos Asembeka has been loaned out to Wazito FC for the remainder of the 2018/19 season while Oscar Masiga joined Vihiga bullets FC on loan.

Veteran Lloyd Wahome after a colorful sendoff joined Wazito FC , David Juma joined Ushuru FC and  Hashim Sempala who had two months remaining in his contract has joined Gor Mahia; all three players contracts were terminated  on mutual agreement.
