Coach Robert Matano has said the team is motivated and dedicated to get positive results against Bandari this afternoon. Coming off last weekend’s loss against City Stars, the coach is confident the boys have what it takes to bounce back.

“A loss is part of the game, it is not the end of the world. We have to accept the result and build on from there. We have to try and win our matches and that is enough motivation,”

“We have prepared well for the game and the motivation is high. As a time we always rise up when playing against big teams and we are facing a big team in Bandari. We are raring to go,” the coach said.

The team has been boosted with the return of forwards Boniface Muchiri and Henry Meja ahead of today’s game against Bandari. The two were out with the national Under-23 team in Ethiopia for the CECAFA Challenge Cup where Kenya finished fourth.

The two trained with the rest of the boys on Monday and have been included in the match day squad.

“We are happy that they are back. We have looked at their fitness and look very shar because they have played almost all the games in CECAFA and we expect them to add some punch into the team,” said the coach/
