Defender Wellington Ochieng says he keeps working hard and patiently waiting for his chance, having moved to Ruaraka from Gor Mahia at the beginning of the season. Ochieng is yet to feature for the first team, but he believes he is putting in the hard yards in training to make himself ready when given the chance.

“It has been good for far and I feel at home. Adapting has however been a bit tough for me because it has taken some time, but I think I am almost there. I know that I must do my own bit, on top of what the coach gives in training to ensure that I am ready,”

“I must focus to be stronger in areas I am strong and also perfect where I have weaknesses. I know my time will come,” the defender says.

He adds; “I am patiently waiting and working hard in training. This is a positive challenge for me and I have to continue showing my work in training and pushing hard. I know when I am given the chance I will be ready and slot in seamlessly into the team,” he added.
