Tusker FC skipper Hashim Sempala says picking maximum points against Gor Mahia will be crucial in the team’s drive to clinch a 12th Kenyan Premier League title.
Sempala says the team is motivated and training their eyes on three points, though he admits it will not be a walk in the park against the defending champions.
“We have trained well and focused on the game against Gor. Our target is the three points and we also want to play well because they are a good team which also plays good football. They are motivated after winning the Cup and we are also motivated after qualifying for the Champions League and so I expect a very tough duel,” says the skipper.
He adds; “Winning against Gor Mahia will put us in a very good position on the table and that’s why I think it is very important for us. We have to go out there and give our best to get the victory at home.”
